John 3:16 is call to action. For it is written "so God so loved the world that He gave". What are we as people who claim to love God willing to give up for him. Lent season is time when you sacrifice some6thing for God. On today I want to let you know that Lent is more than that .Lent is a time set aside to prepare for Easter by observing a period of fasting, repentance, moderation and spiritual discipline. The purpose is to set aside time for reflection on Jesus Christ his suffering and his sacrifice, his life, death, burial and resurrection. It is a time for reconciliation and reconnecting.Through Jesus Christ demonstration of excellence we have a pattern to follow and through the Holy Spirit we are able to achieve excellence and stay SIN-FREE.[2 Samuel 13:19; Esther 4:1; Job 2:8; Daniel 9:3; and Matthew 11:21]
